Charlotte Ames

Charlotte Ames is an experienced professional in flood risk management and planning, currently serving as the Team Leader of Development and Flood Risk at Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru / Natural Resources Wales since December 2017, with responsibilities including leading the technical implementation of TAN15 and managing flood risk activities. Charlotte also holds the role of APC Assessor at the Royal Town Planning Institute starting in January 2024. Previous experience includes working as Planning Lead at JBA Consulting and Senior Flood Management Officer at Wrexham County Borough Council. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Geography and Planning from the University of Liverpool, a Master's degree in Planning from the University of Manchester, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Liverpool John Moores University.
