Ernst Barendregt

Ernst Barendregt is the Director of Finance and IT at Royal Van Zanten. Ernst has over three years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Ernst has a proven track record of successfully leading financial integration teams and guiding external audits. Ernst has also played a key role in due diligence and closing of acquisitions, as well as setting up and aligning financial and management accounting guidelines. In their current role, Ernst is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring that all financial reporting is in compliance with IFRS standards. Ernst is a highly skilled and experienced finance professional who is committed to providing high-quality financial leadership to their organization.

Ernst Barendregt studied at the Johannes Calvijn high school and then went on to study International Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. After completing their MSc, they did a postgraduate course in CMA: Certified Management Accountant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). Ernst then did a postgraduate course in Executive Master of Finance and Control at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
