Sarah Morris has a extensive and diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Sarah started their career as a Registered Nurse at Southlake Regional Health Centre in 2000, where they worked until 2008. During this time, they gained experience in caring for critically ill patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit.

In 2007, Sarah joined UHSM - University Hospital of South Manchester NHS FT as a Registered Nurse. Here, they specialized in caring for post-cardiac or thoracic surgery patients, including those who had undergone transplantation. Additionally, they served as a Practice Education Facilitator, managing students in Registered Nursing and Allied Professional programs.

Sarah continued their education career at Georgian College in 2011, where they worked as an Education Facilitator. Their responsibilities included program development for nursing health assessment courses and providing feedback to practitioners during clinical practice labs. Sarah also assisted with program development for the International Nursing program.

In 2015, Sarah joined Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre as a Clinical Educator for the cardiovascular program. Sarah was responsible for professional practice in both inpatient and outpatient areas, ensuring alignment with best practice guidelines and patient and family-centered care. Sarah later served as an Interim Director in Interprofessional Practice & Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC), and finally as the Director of Professional Practice, IPAC & Allied Health Services.

Sarah Morris has a diverse education history. Sarah obtained a Master's degree in Nursing Leadership & Management from Walden University in the years 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed an Introduction to Legal Nurse Consulting course at CanLNC from 2013 to 2014. In 2012, they pursued Leadership in Education studies at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. Sarah also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education specializing in Teaching & Learning in Clinical Practice, which they earned from Edge Hill University in 2010. Sarah has a Certification in Critical Care from the Canadian Nursing Association, which they acquired in 2005. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Ryerson University from 2003 to 2005. Before that, they obtained a Certificate in Critical Care from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2001. Their educational journey began with a Diploma in Nursing received from Georgian College, which they completed from 1997 to 2000.
