Kathryn Johnson is an accomplished curator and arts professional with extensive experience in exhibition design and management. Currently serving as Curator and Head of Exhibitions at RWA since May 2023, Kathryn has also held positions such as Associate Director at PALMA Studio and Exhibition Curator at The Design Museum. Additional roles include Digital Exhibitions Curator at Exeter Northcott Theatre, Consultant Exhibition Curator at the Hungarian House of Music, and Development Editor at Victoria and Albert Museum. Kathryn began career involvement at the Victoria and Albert Museum as a Researcher to the Director and Assistant Curator for the 'David Bowie is' exhibition. With a strong academic background, Kathryn holds a PhD in Modern English Literature from the University of Glasgow, complemented by an MPhil and a BA from the same institution and the University of Oxford, respectively.
