Benefits and Total Rewards Manager at RPCS

Jennifer Banez began their work experience in 2003 as an Operations Clerk at Naval Support Activity Monterey, where they later served as the School Age Programs Coordinator. In 2014, they worked as an Event Host and Configuration Support at ShutterBooth Events. Starting in 2009, they joined Navy Region Southwest Fleet, Family & Child Programs, initially as a Program Lead and later as an Operations Clerk. In 2017, they became an Administrator, Projects & Accounting at RPCS, and in 2019, they transitioned to the role of Human Resource Manager. Currently, they are the Benefits and Total Rewards Manager at RPCS, overseeing compensation, benefits, and HRIS system management, collaborating with internal and external resources to develop wellness programs and increase retention.

Jennifer Banez completed their education at Heald College, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. Jennifer attended the college from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Jennifer has obtained various certifications in different fields. These certifications include Yoga Instructor and SEL Facilitator from Breathe For Change (obtained in October 2022), Advanced Reiki Practitioner from Reiki Usui System of Natural Healing (obtained in June 2022), Sound Healing Practitioner from Life Changing Energy (obtained in May 2022), I-9 Compliance and Remote Workforce from BASIC (obtained in December 2021), Rightful Employment Termination from Mineral (obtained in March 2021), Defensive Driving Techniques for Construction from ClickSafety (obtained in September 2020), and Employment Law from eCornell (obtained in February 2019).
