Virgilio D'Ottavio

Virgilio D'Ottavio has extensive work experience in the renewable energy sector. Virgilio is currently the Project Director Italy at RP Global since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at WiseEnergy as the Head of Italian Technical Department, managing photovoltaic plants portfolios and performing various technical asset management services. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Senior Technical Manager at Next Energy Capital, responsible for the technical management of their plants portfolio. Before that, they worked at RENAM SRL as an Asset Manager and Technical Advisor, coordinating technical management activities and performing technical "due diligence" analysis of PV plants. Virgilio also has experience at ReFeel Group as a Project Engineer, Co-ver Industrial S.r.l. as a Junior Design Engineer, and Enetech Srl as an Engineering Consultant. Additionally, they gained knowledge and skills during their internships at Neatech Srl and Alenia Aeronautica, where they worked on projects related to design, engineering, and simulation.

Virgilio D'Ottavio obtained a Scientific High School Diploma from Liceo Scientifico between 1993 and 1998. Virgilio later pursued a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, which they completed between 1999 and 2009. No specific field of study was provided for their high school diploma.
