Alina Begun became a Corresponding Member of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine in 2008. In 2006 she was a Deputy of Kirovohrad Regional Council and she graduated from National Aerospace University KhAI with a Ph.D. degree in projects and programs management. In 2001, she became the Financial Director of RPC Radiy. She graduated from Kirovohrad Agricultural Engineering Institute and was qualified in business accounting, control, and analysis of economic activities, in 1994.
