Rakesh Kandpal

Rakesh Kandpal is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in manufacturing and plant management. Currently serving as Plant Head and Vice President of Operations at RR Kabel Limited since May 2022, Rakesh oversees end-to-end manufacturing processes and has profit and loss responsibilities for fan manufacturing facilities. Rakesh previously held the position of Plant Head at Schneider Electric's Luminous division, managing the production of wiring devices and fans. Additional roles include Executive Director at Khaitan Electrical Ltd and Factory Head at Usha International Limited, where significant achievements included reducing product field failure rates. Rakesh began a career in manufacturing with positions at LG Electronics and IFB Industries. Rakesh holds an Executive MBA in Operations Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai.
