Colin Klapka

Colin Klapka has been working in the software engineering and development field since 1997. Colin began their career as an Inquiry Systems Representative at Concentrix Corporation, where they developed and enhanced Lotus Notes & Domino applications. Colin then moved to AIC in 1998, where they worked as an Applications Developer/Systems Administrator, developing enterprise administration tools and database redundancy tools. In 2000, they joined Eastman Kodak, where they worked as an Applications Developer and an Applications Developer/Systems Administrator. In 2009, they joined Heartland Payment Systems as a Software Developer and Web/Software Engineer. In 2015, they joined Mindex as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked as part of a development team to bring the SchoolTool Student Management System software product to market. In 2021, they joined Rapid Response Monitoring as a Senior Software Engineer.

Colin Klapka has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Baker College. Colin also has graduate studies from Eastern University in Data Science and Rochester Institute of Technology in Interactive Multimedia Development. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from IDEO U in Foundations in Design Thinking, IBM in Principal Certified Lotus Professional(Application Developer), and Sun Microsystems in Sun Certified Programmer Java.
