Michael Gregory

Michael Gregory is a seasoned professional in underwriting strategy with extensive experience in leading strategic initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, Ireland, and Continental Europe. Currently serving as Director of Underwriting Strategy at RSA since May 2019, Michael oversees the company's underwriting strategy, appetite, planning, and performance monitoring across personal, commercial, and specialty lines, with a focus on low-carbon and ESG policies. Prior experience includes roles at Suncorp Group, where Michael contributed to strategy development and portfolio management for personal injury insurance, and a brief internship at Elders Insurance Underwriting Agency. Michael holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney, completed the Global Reinsurance Course at Aon Benfield, and has a Certificate IV in General Insurance from Kaplan Professional.
