Andrea Roos

Andrea Roos has a strong background in finance and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Andrea currently serves as the Finance Director DACH at RS Components since May 2021. Prior to that, they were self-employed from 2019 to 2021, taking a sabbatical and focusing on career reorientation. From 2017 to 2019, Roos worked at GE as the Power OTR Finance Transformation Leader, responsible for finance transformation in the Order to Remittance (OTR) Finance domain. Before that, they served as the CFO Power Services Sub-Region Central Europe at GE Power from 2015 to 2017, overseeing financial management and playing a key role in integrating the legacy ALSTOM business into the sub-region. Roos has also held various finance director positions at ALSTOM Power Service from 1999 to 2015, where they managed financial planning, analysis, and control, and oversaw significant revenue volumes. Their career began at ABB, where they worked as a Business Unit Controller from 1996 to 1998.

Andrea Roos obtained a Diploma in Business Administration from Berufsakademie Berlin from 1993 to 1996. In 2017 and 2018, they attended Crotonville Alumni where they focused on RMC - Realizing Meaningful Change and MDC - Manager Development Course. In 2019 to 2020, they obtained a certification as a Certified Fitness Coach & Personal Trainer in medical fitness from Deutsche Akademie für Medical Fitness. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained certifications in "Scrum: The Basics" and "Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management" from LinkedIn.
