Kieran Murphy M.ed., Ctdp

Kieran Murphy, M.Ed., CTDP has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Kieran began their career in 2000 as an Assistant Cruise Director at Princess Cruises where they hosted and presented events for large groups of passengers on different cruise ships and destinations.

In 2007, Kieran joined Carlson Marketing Canada as a Team Lead for Enterprise Solutions. Kieran then moved on to work at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) as a Manager of Continuing Education from 2008 to 2011.

Kieran then transitioned to McCarthy Tetrault LLP as a Manager of Professional & Client Education, where they managed the research and development of national legal learning programs and ensured compliance with professional development requirements.

In 2013, Kieran joined KPMG Canada as a Senior Manager of Learning & Development, specializing in tax. Kieran later took on the role of Senior Manager of Global Learning & Development Operations at KPMG International, responsible for the deployment of tax learning programs worldwide. Additionally, they were involved in leadership development and facilitated various training sessions.

Most recently, Kieran worked at RSM Canada as the Director of Talent Development & Management, overseeing learning and development initiatives and talent management strategies. Kieran also held roles as Director of Global Learning & Professional Development and Director of Tax Learning & Professional Development at RSM Canada.

Throughout their career, Kieran has demonstrated a strong background in learning and development, specializing in tax and professional skills training, as well as leadership development.

Kieran Murphy, M.Ed., CTDP has a diverse education background with a focus on coaching, leadership, and adult education. In 2023, Kieran attended Rice University for the Coaching & Leadership program. Prior to that, in 2022 and 2023, Kieran completed a Certificate in Enterprise Leadership with a specialization in Data Literacy/Data Analytics at Cornell University. From 2016 to 2018, Kieran pursued a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) at Yorkville University, specializing in Adult Education and Leadership.

Although no specific start or end years are provided, Kieran has also completed the Cambridge Law Test (LSAT equivalent) at the University of Cambridge and obtained a BA (Hons) in European Studies with a focus on Business and Law from the University of Derby.
