Vijay Thakrar

Vijay Thakrar is a Non-Executive Director at RSM UK. Vijay has also served as a Non Executive Director at Alpha FX Group plc, RSM UK, Treatt, and The Alumasc Group plc. In their role at Sanderson Design Group plc, they supported and challenged the Executive team on strategy and scrutinised business performance. As NED, they supportively challenged the Executive team to increase digitalisation in sales, marketing and production, drive efficiencies in the business (particularly overhead costs, inventory levels and cash management), optimise licensing of valuable archives, focus on key international markets (close sub-scale overseas operations) and incentivise all staff by introducing an all employee profit sharing scheme.

Vijay Thakrar has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as A Levels in Economics, English, and Mathematics from Gateway Sixth Form College Leicester.
