Chris Pursell

Chris Pursell is an experienced professional in volunteering engagement and management, serving as the Volunteering Engagement Manager and previously as the Volunteering Development Officer at RSPB since May 2021. Before this, Chris was the Volunteer Centre Manager at ARU Students' Union from February 2015 to May 2021, overseeing a network of over 2,300 registered student volunteers who contributed more than 16,000 hours of service annually. Chris also held the position of Volunteer Coordinator at Sheffield Hallam University from September 2011 to July 2014. Chris holds a degree in Architecture and Environmental Design from Sheffield Hallam University, where studies were completed between 2011 and 2014.
