Lucy Atkinson

Lucy Atkinson is an experienced Project Officer currently working with RSPB on the Species on the Edge project, which aims to protect vulnerable wildlife in Scotland. Lucy has held various roles within RSPB, starting as an Assistant Warden and earlier as a Residential Volunteer on the Isle of Islay. Prior experience includes serving as a Sustainability Project Manager for the SMART Transport Team at City of York Council and working as a Senior Social Researcher with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, focusing on farmer behavior in the Future Farming and Countryside programme. Lucy's background also includes positions as a Social Researcher at Leeds University Union and internships as a Sustainability Officer with Lendlease. Educational achievements consist of a Master of Science in Sustainability and Business and a Bachelor of Science in Geography, both from the University of Leeds, along with studies at The University of Queensland.
