Julia Silge

Julia Silge has a diverse background in data analysis, software development, and academia. With a PhD in Astronomy, Julia has worked in various roles including as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University, Adjunct Professor at multiple universities, and as a Data Scientist at Stack Overflow. Currently, Julia serves as an Engineering Manager at Posit PBC, leading a team to develop open source solutions for machine learning operations. Their expertise spans from statistical survey weighting tools to developing software for machine learning and MLOps.
