Mara Averick

Mara Averick is a developer advocate at RStudio, and has previously worked as a consultant, resident hoops head, consulting data architect, and consulting web developer/master. Mara has also worked as a business strategist and research analyst. Mara has a passion for data science and web development, and has used their skills to help design complex data mappings and develop SQL scripts.

Mara Averick holds an Honors B.A. from Brown University in Science and Technology Studies, as well as degrees in Oceanography, Nautical Science, and Maritime Studies from the Sea Education Association. Mara is also certified in W3C Web Accessibility Principles from lynda.com.
