Ben Fleischer is a dedicated coach and leader with extensive experience in swimming and mentoring. Currently serving as Head Coach at Carderock Springs Swim Club since March 2022, Ben manages a team of over 150 swimmers and mentors four assistant coaches, focusing on improving technique and skills. Ben's leadership development is further enhanced through participation in the Army ROTC program. Previous roles include Assistant Coach at Lakelands Lionfish Swim Team, where spirit activities and skill improvement were key responsibilities, and Peer Mentor Captain for the College Park Scholars program. Ben's early coaching experience began with Joe Flaherty's Dolphins as a Swim Instructor, alongside a commitment to public health and safety through a lifeguard position at RSV Pools, Inc. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management and Business Analytics at the University of Maryland, Ben demonstrates a strong foundation in both sports and academics.
