Heather Bendes

Heather Bendes currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Residex since November 2024. Previously, Bendes founded Bendes Consult, functioning as CFO and Senior Finance Executive from May 2022 to May 2025, specializing in strategic planning and SaaS metrics. Prior experience includes a tenure as VP Finance at Abrigo, where responsibilities encompassed SaaS metrics, budgeting, and forecasting, and earlier as VP Controller, focusing on ASC 606 and financial process improvement. Bendes was also VP of Finance at Spanning Cloud Apps, managing budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis from January 2014 to May 2020. Additionally, Bendes held the role of Chair on the Board of Directors for GENaustin from July 2011 to August 2017, emphasizing nonprofit leadership and strategic planning. Academic credentials include an MS in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
