Max Papon

Max Papon has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Regulatory Advisor at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité since April 2007, where responsibilities include tariff regulation with the French NRA (CRE), overseeing Smart Grids projects, and conducting financial analysis and reporting. Previously, Max held the position of Head of tariff regulation at RTE, as well as an Economist at GRTgaz, where expertise encompassed capacity allocation mechanisms and European development. Earlier roles included Analyst at Gaz de France, focusing on strategic studies and industrial tariffs, and Engineer researcher at EDF R&D, specializing in electricity consumption forecasting. Max holds a Master's Degree in statistics and economics from ENSAE Paris, completed in 1988.
