Jarlan Perez

Jarlan Perez has a diverse work experience in various roles within the design industry. Jarlan is currently working as the Visual Design Director at RTFKT since 2022. Previously, they worked at Google as a UX and Visual Designer from 2017 to 2022, focusing on designing for augmented reality glasses and conducting extensive research to create innovative solutions. Before Google, Jarlan worked as a Freelance 3D Artist, creating 3D models and assets for AR/VR projects. Jarlan also had experience at Lockheed Martin as a Multimedia Design Engineer II, where they developed 3D models for real-time environments and streamlined production workflows. Additionally, they worked at Angry Rock Studios as a Lead Environment & Texture Artist, leading a small team of developers to create high-quality games.

Jarlan Perez attended the Art Institute of Tampa from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Game Art and Design.
