Annete Njue has extensive work experience in the field of market access and outcomes strategy. Annete started their career at Kenya Trypanosomiasis Research Institute in 1993, where they worked as a Research Officer until 1998. Annete then joined Institute of Parasitology, McGill University as a Research Assistant and PhD Student, and also served as a Teaching Assistant from 2000 to 2001. In 2004, Annete worked as a Medical Writer at Adis International before joining Prime Medica in 2006. At Prime Medica, they started as a Medical Writer and progressed to the role of Senior Medical Writer until 2011. From 2011 to 2020, Annete worked at RTI Health Solutions, starting as a Senior Associate and then moving up to Associate Director, Director, and finally, Senior Director in the Market Access and Outcomes Strategy department.
Annete Njue began their education at the University of Nairobi from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Annete then pursued further studies at the University of Liverpool from 1995 to 1996, earning a Master's degree in Applied Parasitology and Medical Entomology. Continuing their education, Annete Njue attended McGill University from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology.
