Chris Simmons

Chris Simmons has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Chris started their career at KPMG US as a Senior before moving on to Bennett Thrasher & Co as a Senior. Chris then worked at Hughes Pittman & Gupton LLP as a Manager and later joined Robert Half Finance & Accounting as a Sales Consultant. Chris then transitioned to Mitsubishi Semiconductor America, Inc. as a Section Manager, Finance before serving as the VP Finance at Cogent Neuroscience. Currently, they are the Senior VP, Finance and Operations at RTI Health Solutions, where they are responsible for leading the company and providing consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and device companies.

Chris Simmons obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University, which was completed between the years 1983 and 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Research Management at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, which they completed from 2021 to 2022.

Chris Simmons also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), which they obtained in 1988.
