Craig Burns

Craig Burns is an Associate Director in the Receiver, Exciter & Signal Processing Department at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, where they oversee 165 hardware, firmware, and software products related to land, naval, and missile defense radar programs. They previously held various engineering roles at Raytheon Technologies, including Senior Principal Electrical Engineer and Radar Hardware Engineering Lead, contributing to significant projects such as the next-generation GaN Transmit/Receive module and the Missile Defense radar program. Prior experience includes serving as a Principal Electrical Engineer at Harris Corporation and in various engineering roles at Alcatel-Lucent and EMC. Craig earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida.
