Neal Herring

Neal Herring is a Senior Director of the Aerothermal Systems Department at the RTX Technology Research Center, where they are responsible for strategic and operational leadership in developing innovative technologies for aerospace and defense. With a background in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and system modeling, Neal has held various roles at United Technologies Research Center, including Discipline Leader and Associate Director, and has served as Chief of Staff to the RTX CTO. Neal earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
