Dhanny Widjaja has a diverse range of work experience in sales and management roles. Dhanny started their career as an Area Sales Manager at Topjaya Sarana Utama, where they were responsible for distributing Toshiba products. Dhanny then moved on to PT Arta Boga Cemerlang as a Business Manager, focusing on developing distribution strategies for various leading brands.
From there, Dhanny joined Unilever FoodSolutions as a Regional Sales Manager, where they optimized product penetration and outlet coverage in the Jabotabek area. Dhanny then worked as a Distribution Manager at Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition, coordinating between sales, marketing, and distribution teams to improve route-to-market strategies.
Dhanny later became the GM of Sales and Distribution at PT PrimaFood International, a subsidiary of Charoen Pokphand Group. Dhanny led the sales force and managed sub-distributors to achieve sales targets. Following this, they served as the National Sales General Manager at PT. Eastern Pearl Flour Mills, overseeing strategic vertical integration with CBH Group.
Prior to their current role as the Head of Sales at Ruangguru, Dhanny also held positions at Sensient Technologies Corporation as a Sales Director and at Grab as the Head of Sales, where they worked towards the goal of making transportation accessible to everyone in Southeast Asia.
In addition to their extensive sales experience, Dhanny has also worked as a part-time lecturer at Parahyangan Catholic University, sharing their expertise with students in the Master of Business Administration program.
