Travis Donoghue

Travis Donoghue serves as the Chief Executive at Ruapehu Alpine Lifts (RAL Ltd) since June 2020, where responsibilities include leading operations in the dual UNESCO World Heritage Tongariro National Park. In addition, Travis holds the position of Director at NZOIA, contributing to the Operational Excellence Sub Committee since March 2018, focusing on enhancing standards in outdoor instruction and guiding. Previously, Travis was the General Manager for the Waitomo Group at Tourism Holdings Limited from October 2017 to May 2020, overseeing notable attractions like the Waitomo Glowworm Cave and Blackwater Rafting. Prior experience also includes serving as Business Manager and Operations Manager for Guided Walks New Zealand under Ngāi Tahu Tourism Limited from June 2013 to September 2017, specializing in the Hollyford Track. Travis holds a Bachelor of Applied Management with a focus on Project Management from the Southern Institute of Technology, completing the degree in November 2022.
