Zan Lowe-Skillern has held a variety of roles in the technology and healthcare industries. In 2022, they joined Crowd Funded Cures as a Core Team, Partnerships & Business Development member. In 2021, they held the role of Head of Partnerships at Rubato-Life and Senior Business Development, Advisory Board at Gynisus Inc. From 2018 to 2021, they were the Head of Partnerships, Healthcare & AR/VR at the Israel Economic Mission to the West Coast. From 2014 to 2018, they held multiple roles at Lenovo, including Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Lenovo DOGfooding Program, SMB Account Executive, and LASR Program Associate. In 2013, they served on the Board of Directors - Technology at Carolina Creates and Co-President at the Carolina Economics Club. In 2011, they were a Resident Advisor at the UNC Department of Housing and Residential Education. Additionally, in 2013, they held a Multi-Department Intern role at The Hutong and a Web Management, Language Instruction role at AIESEC in 2012.
Zan Lowe-Skillern completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2010 and 2014. During that time, they also took part in an Inter-Institutional Course in Innovation and the Media at Duke University in 2013 and a Summer Exchange in Chinese Language and Organizational Behavior at Peking University in the same year. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Entrepreneurship: Raising Startup Capital, Finance Foundations: Business Valuation, Managing International Projects, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Bloomberg Equity Essentials from LinkedIn and Bloomberg Financial Terminal between 2012 and 2018.
