Darren Hsu has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Darren recently co-founded the company Rubbrband and currently holds the position of COO. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft for a brief period. Darren also served as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley. Before their time at Microsoft and UC Berkeley, Darren gained internship experience at Amazon, where they worked as a Software Development Engineer. Darren also interned at LogicMonitor and Lucid, where they focused on backend software engineering and software development, respectively.
Darren Hsu began their education at Mission San Jose High School from 2014 to 2018, where they completed their high school studies. Darren then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara from 2018 to 2019. After transferring, Darren continued their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley from 2019 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Darren furthered their education at UC Berkeley, specializing in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences, and completed a Master of Science degree from 2021 to 2022.
