Michiel van Eijkeren

Michiel van Eijkeren has a strong background in software development and cloud consulting. Michiel is currently working as an Area Lead DevOps at Rubicon Cloud Advisor, where they are responsible for guiding the company in containerized development and researching new techniques and frameworks. Michiel is also a Senior Azure & .NET Developer in the same company, working with a large Dutch financial company to help with their migration to Microsoft Azure.

Prior to their current role, Michiel worked at Betabit as a Consultant Software Engineer, assisting companies with their migration to Azure and developing software using C#, SQL, Blazor, and Angular. Michiel also worked as a Graduate Intern at Betabit, where they created structured employee data and built a smart chatbot using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Before joining Betabit, Michiel served as a Cross-platform app developer at Atlantis Financiers N.V. and as an Intern Software Engineer at KSD Groep.

Overall, Michiel has accumulated a range of experience in software development, cloud consulting, migration projects, and utilizing Microsoft Azure technologies.

Michiel van Eijkeren completed a Minor in Applied Data Science at Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven from 2018 to 2019. Michiel also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatica (Software engineering) / Hogere opleiding Software engineer from the same institution from 2014 to 2019. In addition, they received a Propedeuse certificate from Fontys Hogeschool ICT in 2016 and a VWO-diploma from Pleincollege Sint-Joris.
