Grant Deans, CPA has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Grant most recently served as the Vice President of Accounting at Rubicon. Prior to that, they worked as the Corporate Controller at Keystone Dental Group and as an Assistant Global Corporate Controller at SES. Grant also took a sabbatical to pursue a master's degree from 2020 to 2021.
Before their sabbatical, Grant held several positions at Schneider Electric, including Vice President of Finance and Control, Global Finance Director, Zone Finance Director, Operational Efficiency Leader, and Senior Manager of Asia Pacific Integration & Automation. Grant also worked as a Program Manager in Finance, Procurement & Logistics at NSW Health, and as an Audit Manager at Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Grant started their career at Qantas as a Senior Business Analyst in Group Credit & Accounts Payable, and they worked at American Express as an Internal Control Analyst specializing in Foreign Exchange, where they managed the implementation of new products and services, conducted audits, and investigated fraudulent activities.
Grant Deans, CPA has a Master's degree in Finance from Harvard Extension School. Grant is also a Member of CPA Australia, with a degree in Accounting. Grant obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Banking from the University of New England (AU), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the same university. Grant holds certifications in Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from the Information Systems Audit Control Association (ISACA) and Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Additionally, Grant has earned several additional certifications in areas such as FinTech, digital transformation, remote leadership, and diversity and inclusion from institutions like HarvardX and LinkedIn.
