Dona Lee Kelly is an experienced development professional with a strong background in the arts and nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Director of Development and Head of Major Gifts at the Rubin Museum of Art since March 2019, Dona has held numerous leadership roles, including Director of Development at the Scholars At Risk Network at New York University and National Academy Museum and School of Fine Arts. Previous positions include Director of Development at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, where a significant capital campaign was completed, and Director of Campaign & Major Gifts at The MacDowell Colony, which successfully executed a $13 million campaign. Dona's expertise encompasses major gifts, annual funds, capital campaigns, and donor stewardship, demonstrated throughout a diverse career spanning over two decades in organizations such as Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and Primary Stages. Dona holds an MFA in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College and a BS in Dance and Therapeutics from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
