Software Development Team

The Rubin Observatory's Software Development Team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the sophisticated software systems critical for the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST). This includes developing scientific software for data analysis, integration tools, and frontend interfaces, as well as maintaining the backend infrastructure and ensuring smooth deployment through DevOps practices. The team works collaboratively to enable the efficient processing, storage, and accessibility of the massive data sets collected by the LSST Camera, thereby supporting groundbreaking astronomical research.
