André Ascensão

André Ascensão has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving in various leadership roles at Rubis Energia Portugal since March 2017, including Responsável Instalações Industriais, Gerente de terminal, and Supervisor de operações. Prior to this, André worked at Instituto Tecnológico do Gás from June 2009 to March 2017 as an Engineer, focusing on LPG and Natural Gas projects, including audits, construction, maintenance, and engineering. Earlier roles include Junior Researcher at IMEC, where André contributed to the fabrication of silicon microprobes, and a Student Scholarship position at INESC - MN, working on adsorption studies. André holds a Master’s degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a postgraduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety from IEFP.
