Svetlana Yershov has a diverse work experience in various roles within the design and strategy field. Svetlana is currently the Head of Design at Linkfire, a global leader in smart links for the music streaming industry. Prior to that, they worked as the Design Strategy, Content Strategy & Insights Lead at Ruca, a nomadic design studio and startup advisory. Svetlana also served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Yorba, a company focused on creating a decentralized internet. Svetlana has experience in product marketing and design strategy as the Product Marketing Lead at Pleo, a unicorn scale-up, and as the Vice President, Insights & Design Strategist - FinTech at Citi, a global bank. Svetlana has also worked as a Senior Planner at TPN, a Senior Strategist at Ogilvy focusing on IBM, and as a Content Strategist at DIRECTV. In addition, Svetlana has experience as a Creative Strategist at Blue Fountain Media and as a Creative Intern at Usablenet. Throughout their career, they have worked with notable clients such as Warner Music Group, Apple Music, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, IBM, P&G, and Forbes, among others.
Svetlana Yershov completed their high school education at Bergen County Academies from 2005 to 2009, graduating with a High School Diploma. During this time, they focused on the Academy for Visual and Performing Arts (AVPA). Svetlana then pursued further education at Pratt Institute from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Communications Design with a specialization in Advertising Art Direction.
