Shanti Bergel

Shanti Bergel is a seasoned venture capital executive and angel investor with extensive experience in the interactive entertainment industry. Currently serving as the Founding General Partner and Managing Director at Transcend since 2020, Shanti has been instrumental in partnering with innovative founders and investing in early-stage companies. Previously, Shanti held significant roles at various startups and established companies, including Executive Vice President at FunPlus and Senior Vice President at GREE, Inc. In addition to these positions, Shanti has been a lead seed investor and board member for multiple gaming startups and personal investments, contributing to notable companies like Coinbase and Super Evil Megacorp. Educational qualifications include degrees from Waseda University and the University of Oregon.
