Sudhakar Swaminathan

Sudhakar Swaminathan is a distinguished engineer at Ruckus Wireless since November 2015, specializing in the design and development of next-generation cloud-centric access point platforms, focusing on data path fast forwarding, SMP performance tuning, WiFi enhancements, and IoT architecture. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Ruckus Wireless, where Sudhakar significantly contributed to WiFi technologies and embedded machine learning applications, as well as a Senior Software Architect at Ubiquiti Networks, leading the development of their UAP AC product line. Sudhakar also served as a Senior Staff Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm Atheros Inc., where leadership in dynamic power management functionality for network processors was demonstrated. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at Ericsson IP Infrastructure, Pulse Communications, and PMC-Sierra. Sudhakar holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University.
