Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory control processes. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock records, optimizing inventory turnover, and implementing efficient inventory management practices. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels across multiple channels, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.

  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to manage stock replenishment, timely delivery of goods and avoid stockouts.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure compliance on all processes, identify discrepancies, and to measure effectiveness.

  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to inventory management

  • Generate regular reports on inventory data forecasting demand, stock movements, and key performance indicators.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on inventory analysis to support decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Operations teams to coordinate inventory planning and meet customer demand to implement process improvements and system enhancements.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory.

  • Manage cost approval process and maintain accurate product cost data to ensure costs remain within allowable variances.

  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns related to inventory procurement.

  • Supervise and train inventory control staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Establish and deploy department goals and objectives that continuously improve business and process performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

  • Proven experience in inventory management or related fields, with at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial role.

  • Experience with inventory control and stock management

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, inventory tracking software).

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.

  • Must be comfortable working in a culture/environment that is high pressure and fast paced.
