Manager of Logistics

RUDIS is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Manager of Logistics to lead our logistics operations on both domestic and international fronts. As a key member of our team, you'll play an important role in shaping and executing logistics strategies to optimize processes, ensuring the seamless and cost-effective transportation of goods from suppliers to distribution centers or customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the logistics budget, including assessing costs for new projects and proposals.

  • Manage day-to-day logistics activities to meet operational objectives and exceed customer service standards.

  • Develop and implement robust logistics strategies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

  • Oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including budgetary management, performance metrics, and quality control, with a focus on identifying areas for improvement.

  • Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, carriers, vendors, regulators, and clients, fostering seamless communication and collaboration.

  • Maintain awareness of industry and global logistics trends, continually evaluating and enhancing logistical processes to meet evolving business needs and industry standards.

  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing transportation and logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in a senior logistics role with a successful track record of optimizing logistics operations and reducing costs.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Retail industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to lead and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software and tools.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws governing transportation and logistics.
