Derek Pue

Derek Pue is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst with extensive experience in GIS roles, currently serving at the BC Public Service since December 2015 and previously as a GIS Technician for BC Timber Sales. Derek has a strong background in coaching, being the Head Coach for the Kamloops Raiders Rugby Club and holding the position of Head Analyst for Rugby Canada's U20 Men's Team since May 2017. Derek's coaching qualifications include World Rugby Level 2 certification, focusing on tactical, technical, and conditioning training, as well as player assessment and individual athlete development. Derek's earlier GIS experience includes positions at Forsite Consultants Ltd, Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd, and Iverson Forest Management. Derek earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a Geomatics Concentration from the University of Victoria, complementing education at Vancouver Island University.
