Liz Montroy

Liz Montroy is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in sports communication and event coordination. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at Rugby Canada, Liz previously held positions such as Communications and Events Coordinator at Rowing Canada Aviron, where responsibilities included creating press releases, managing social media content, and supporting national events. Liz's experience also encompasses roles as a Social Media Coordinator for the International Paralympic Committee during major events like the Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 Paralympics, where engagement and content creation were key focus areas. Additionally, Liz has contributed written features for WomensHockeyLife and worked in communications and marketing at Curl BC. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, along with a certificate in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, and is furthering education through the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
