Tyler Leggatt

Tyler Leggatt serves as the President and Executive Director of Upright Rugby Canada since June 2008, overseeing program design and player development. In addition, Tyler has been a 7s Talent ID Officer for Rugby Canada since October 2015, responsible for identifying potential athletes in Ontario and collaborating on talent strategies. Tyler's experience as a Secondary Physical Health and Education Teacher with the Halton District School Board spans over a decade, focusing on skill development and guidance curriculum. Previously, Tyler held the position of Head Coach for U15 and U16 Junior Men's Programs at Rugby Ontario from May 2009 to August 2011. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education from Western Sydney University and a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University.
