Mechanical Engineer at Rugged Robotics

Madison Kroncke has a strong background in mechanical engineering and robotics. In 2016, they worked as an Engineering Intern at VEX Robotics, where they assisted in the creation of new STEM products and successfully launched one of their product ideas. From 2017 to 2020, Madison worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at RackSolutions, where they independently designed and developed eight products that are now being sold internationally. They also worked on a custom product design that is in the process of being patented. In 2021, Madison joined NASA as a Robotics Mechanical Design Intern, where they played a key role in developing structural chassis components for a human-rated lunar rover prototype. They applied engineering principles to design, fabricate, and test parts, while also collaborating with a team to integrate individual subsystems. Currently, Madison is working as a Mechanical Engineer at Rugged Robotics starting from 2022.

Madison Kroncke attended Greenville High School from 2014 to 2018, where they received their High School Diploma. They then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2018 to 2022.
