Soumya Srilekha Balijepally has a strong background in robotics and research. Their most recent experience was as a Robotics Engineer at Rugged Robotics, starting in February 2023. Soumya Srilekha Balijepally completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at GITAM Deemed University from 2015 to 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Soumya Srilekha Balijepally obtained certification in Data Science and Analytics from Udemy in June 2017.
