Christof Ruhmich currently serves as Team Lead Africa at Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e. V. and has been a Co-Founder of Mag Mo GmbH since October 2015, focusing on sustainable socio-economic development through Moringa oleifera. With extensive experience in humanitarian aid and development, Christof has held various consulting roles, including working with the Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation and Panzi Hospital and Foundation, where responsibilities involved risk analysis and socio-economic reintegration of gender-based violence survivors. Christof has also contributed to project management and quality assurance at Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e. V. and has been involved in capacity-building training at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. In addition, Christof has provided expertise in establishing a Moringa value chain in Senegal through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Academically, Christof is pursuing a PhD in International Development Studies at Ruhr University Bochum, following a Diplom in International Economics from the University of Essen.
