Detlef Walther

Detlef Walther is an experienced sales professional in the pump and compressed gas industry, currently serving as Sales Manager for Germany North and Denmark at Ruhrpumpen Global since March 2018. In this role, Detlef specializes in the sales of various pump systems designed for the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, power generation, refinery, and general industry sectors, adhering to industry standards such as API and DIN. Previously, Detlef held the position of Area Sales Manager at Sundyne LLC, focusing on centrifugal pumps and compressors, and served as Sales & Project Manager at SPX Process Equipment, also specializing in centrifugal pumps. Detlef began their career as a Sales Engineer at ALLWEILER GmbH, where responsibilities included selling various types of pumps to the ship-building industry and navy. Detlef holds a Dipl.Ing. (FH) degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from the University of Applied Sciences, attained from 1980 to 1984.
