Jerene Makia

Jerene Makia has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jerene currently holds the position of Vice President of FP&A at RumbleOn since 2022. Previously, they worked as the Head of Major Studio Film FP&A at Netflix from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they served as the Head of AI/ML Finance (Go-To-Market Sales) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2020 to 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as the Director of FP&A and Pricing at Sedgwick. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Lime Energy from 2016 to 2018. Jerene also worked as a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at York Risk Services Group from 2014 to 2016, where they were responsible for leading budget meetings and identifying financial risks and opportunities. Jerene also gained experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at iProspect, a Dentsu Aegis Network Company, from 2012 to 2014, where they provided detailed reporting and analysis to the CFO and managing directors. Jerene started their career at Windstream Communications as a Financial Analyst from 2010 to 2012, where they managed relationships with outside business reps and led recruiting efforts. Prior to that, they worked at Target from 2008 to 2010, holding roles in financial management, recruiting, and store management.

Jerene Makia completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance at the University of Central Arkansas. Jerene then pursued an MBA degree in Finance and Management at Texas A&M University-Commerce from 2013 to 2014.
