Kimberly Jung has a diverse work experience spanning many industries and roles. Kimberly began their career in 2008 as an Engineer Officer, Maintenance Platoon Leader, 15th Engineer Battalion for the US Army. In 2019, they were a Mechatronics Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they led a team of support engineers, technicians, and quality assurance personnel to fabricate, assemble and deliver mechanical actuators for deployments of mission-critical motion of robotic spacecraft. In 2018, they were a Graduate Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtaining a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with a GPA of 5.0/5.0. In 2020, they became the COO of Pickle Robot Company, building low-cost, collaborative, autonomous parcel handling robots. In 2021, they became the CEO of Blanchard House and a Board Member of Alipes Inc. and Bunker Labs. Kimberly also served as a Co-Founder and CEO of Rumi Spice from 2014-2021.
Kimberly Jung began their educational journey at Harvard-Westlake School from 2000 to 2004. Kimberly then attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School from 2013 to 2015. In 2020, they received a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2011, they obtained their Professional Engineer, Mechanical, State of California certification from NCEES. Finally, they earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2020.
