Kate Resta

Vice President of Development at Run for Something

Kate Resta's work experience begins in 2009 at the National Endowment for Democracy, where they worked as a Program Assistant and later as an Assistant Program Officer. During their time there, they organized and facilitated events, maintained budget records, and created materials for donor organizations.

In 2016, Kate joined The Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter, as a Development Manager.

In 2017, they moved to the Indivisible Project, starting as a Development Manager and gradually progressing to Senior Development Manager and finally Associate Director for Major Gifts.

Most recently, in 2022, Kate started working at Run for Something, first as Director of Development and currently serving as the Vice President of Development.

Kate Resta attended the University of Virginia from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Affairs with a focus on Russian Studies.
