Paul Astorino

Paul Astorino has held a variety of roles in the footwear and apparel industry, beginning with their role as Coach of Women's Cross-Country and Track & Field at Saint Bonaventure University in 2000. In 1999, they began working for adidas as Manager of U.S. Footwear Marketing Operations and U.S. Footwear Marketing Manager of Running. During this time, they achieved $413M in Running sales while operating at less than 3% of revenues and maintaining a 41% margin. In 2002, they moved to Nike as Senior Product Line Manager of Men's Running and was responsible for leading the creation of the Running business plan and development of men's running products. After this, they went to ASICS America as Manager of ASICSTIGER US Product Marketing and Global Product Manager of Running, Racing, Track & Field. In 2007, they returned to adidas as Head of Global Performance Running, where they created, directed, and managed the global Running vision for apparel, footwear, and go-to-market. From 2011 to 2012, they were General Manager of The Program brands at Burton Snowboards, where they created and administered an overall strategic plan and direction for Forum snowboards, boots, and bindings; and FourSquare and Special Blend outerwear, technical apparel, and accessories. In 2012, they joined The NorthFace as Director of Performance, Technical Outdoor, and Youth Footwear, where they built global businesses lines and originated the vision and plan for Running and Youth Footwear. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Reebok as Senior Director of Performance Footwear and Senior Director of Running, Walking, and Outdoor Footwear and Apparel. In 2020, they moved to Clarks as Senior Vice President Global Merchandizing and, most recently, to Rabbit in 2021 as Director of Strategy.

Paul Astorino has a diverse educational background. Paul received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from St. Bonaventure University in 1987. Paul then completed coursework toward a Master of Arts (MA) in English Literature from St. Bonaventure University in 1989. In 2016, they completed a Fiction Writing I course from GrubStreet. Finally, they earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing-Fiction from Lesley University in 2019.
